my name is michelle. my practice lately concerns slowness, interruption and the making of rebellious poetics in the ordinary and the discarded. my work plays with tactics and interventions in everyday life, taking a speculative and tactile approach to space, architecture, sound and cities. i see my practice as minor ways of moving in sites of foreclosure, and of finding impressions of utopia and radical exteriority in dismissible spaces and in improper time. my activities often involve improvisatory, unfinished and proximately situationist interrogations. i am interested in disobedient and inexact articulations, and in deprofessional, non-disciplinary slips at the junctures and possibilities of slow collectivities and militances. my work often takes the form of gestures, performances, drawings, paintings, wheat pastings, sound and time-based experiments.
i hope you can find here some hints of subversion and joy in everyday life across the horizontal, some rhythms of autonomy and dreams of making free spaces against a late capitalist milieux.
